When will I get charged?

Upon successful funding of Kickstarter, you will be charged on October 2nd, 2024, when the Kickstarter ends.

What if my payment failed?

If your payment method doesn’t work, you will receive an email from Stripe, Kickstarter’s payment processor. They will prompt you to fix the issue and will retry up to once per day for 14 days until it works. If you pledge at a high level, this could be your bank making sure it is you making the purchase. You’ll usually have to call your bank and up your daily purchase limit or tell them to whitelist Stripe for the next couple weeks.

When is shipping charged?

When the Kickstarter Campaign concludes on October 2nd, 2024 you will be charged by Kickstarter for the product cost ONLY.

Following the conclusion of the Kickstarter (before shipping time), you will receive a survey from our Pledge Manager partner, Backerkit. It is at this time that you will pay for shipping. This means that you will need to pay at 2 different times to fully complete your Kickstarter pledge. Once to Kickstarter for the product cost, and once to Backerkit for shipping. You will also be able to add any final add-ons to your order at this time.

How much is shipping expected to cost?

This will vary based on where you live and how much product you are getting. Here is an estimate for a single box below. If you have more product, the cost to ship this and import this will increase. Be prepared. A Limit Break (10 cases) weighs a LOT.

Do these prices include any VAT (value-added tax) or import duties?

This Kickstarter’s pricing does not include any taxes your country may charge to import our merchandise. Taxes take on various forms depending on where you are in the world. In the EU, VAT is based on the value of the product. The exact value of the product will be calculated when you check out from the pledge manager.

You are responsible for any import taxes, fees, and/or VAT upon importing these items.

We are shipping from Minnesota, USA.

Below is an estimation of the import VAT based on where you live. Canada - 5% Rest of the World - 10-20%

Can I use an Apple Email to back this campaign?

Technically yes but please no. In our experience this causes significant headaches when it comes time to track you down for shipping payment and then again when we send you tracking for your rewards. Please use an actual email address and not an Apple privacy layer email on Kickstarter.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
